The North Alabama Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is a non-profit organization made up of 210+ Information Security professionals and practitioners in the Tennessee Valley.  We provide education forums, publications, and professional networking opportunities which enhance the knowledge, skill and professional growth of its members and our local community.  The North Alabama ISSA Chapter is affiliated with the international ISSA organization, conforms to its professional and organizational guidelines, and supports the ISSA Code of Ethics.

The North Alabama Student Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) cordially invites students of all majors and faculty to attend one of the greatest events at UAHuntsville called Cyber Night.

Our guest speakers will be Dr. Ray Vaughn, Dr. Thomas Morris, and Mr. Ben McGee, all renowned experts in Cyber Security. Dr. Vaughn is the new Vice President of Research at UAH and specializes in Cyber Security research. Dr. Morris is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University and currently focuses on cyber security of SCADA systems. Mr. McGee is a certified White Hat Hacker, information security scientist, and the North Alabama ISSA chapter president.
