Mr. Ben McGee
Speaker Biography:
Ben McGee is a Senior Systems Engineer working as a support contractor for SAIC with the Army. Ben’s specialty is secure systems and software engineering and he has experience with encryption, biometrics, smart cards, and identity, credential and access management. Mr. McGee has worked for NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Raymond James Financial, CDXperts, BenefitOne of America, Line Drive Consulting, Geonex-AgraBaymont, and TEKSystems.
He was invited to be a part of the Cyber Defense Exercise in 2005 at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy as a White Cell Liaison.
Ben is currently the Vice President of the North Alabama Information Systems Security Association here in Huntsville. He also teaches Information Security courses at the University of Alabama in Huntsville for the Continuing Education Division.
Mr. McGee has a BA from the University of Florida and he holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation.
